HOW WE ARE HELPLING

“For many patients, vision loss seems like an insurmountable barrier to a fulfilling life,” says Justin Cave, ACE’s Chief Executive Officer. “Patients experiencing vision loss often worry about how it will affect their quality of life. That is why the services and resources provided by Valley Center for the Blind are so important. Having a caring organization that is dedicated to their needs helps our visually impaired patients realize that vision loss doesn’t have to mean loss of independence. It gives them hope for a brighter future.”

OUR PROGRAMS

Valley Center for the Blind is inspired and dedicated to providing people experiencing vision loss with a safe and engaging place to find support, community and high-level training programs.

Our Rehabilitation Core Courses consist of Assistive-Technology, Braille, Independent Living Skills and Orientation and Mobility. We also host a variety of classes, support groups and workshops to provide participants with a well-rounded and caring educational experience. Each individual’s rehabilitation journey is custom designed to meet that person’s needs and goals. We will walk with you on your journey to surpass your own expectations.

VCB also works together with clients to prepare, find, and retain employment, both at VCB and in the community. Our Employment Services and Industry programs help those with vision loss discover their true capacity for meaningful employment. Join us as we seek to make a difference in the lives of those with vision loss!
